I didn't always know...
I've been taking photos since I was a child. I got my first professional film camera in middle school and learned darkroom photography in high school. I became a photography major in college and graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I have always known that I wanted to be a photographer.
By chance, in 2011, some acquaintances asked me to photograph their wedding and in return they would purchase my flight to the faraway location so I could spend several days camping at their wedding with our mutual friends. The experience was beyond amazing and it didn't take long for me to realize how much I LOVE photographing weddings. Being able to share in one of the most important days in two people's lives and see them surrounded by the love and support of their families and friends is such an honor! I didn't always know I wanted to be a wedding photographer, but I'm so glad I became one!
In addition to weddings, I have a passion for capturing all of the special moments and transitions in life, from love to pregnancy to parenthood and everything else in between! I was a nanny for nearly a decade and have a special connection with children of all ages and expecting mothers-to-be. It brings me great joy to be able to experience these precious moments and offer you beautiful images to last a lifetime.

Shannon Wolf is the woman behind the camera. She is a wedding, portrait, lifestyle, and product photographer. She shoots both digital and film, including 35mm, medium format, and instant film. Shannon has a love for natural light and incredible scenery. Using an approach that combines documentary and fine art styles, she captures beautiful, honest, and timeless images.
Shannon graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and also pursues videography, print-making, wood-working, textiles, visual art, and tattooing. She has had work shown in Florida, Oregon, NYC, and Berlin.
Shannon also spent nearly a decade as a nanny and has a great love for expecting mothers and children of all ages. Her experience caring for children and her warm personality helps to put her subjects at ease and allows for natural moments to shine through!
